The HZ 30 models have removable barrels. By utilizing an extra set of barrels, the operator can unload and reload one set while the other set is in cycle in the machine. This feature maximizes machine running time. Several styles of barrels are available for the Model HZ 30, depending upon customers needs. |

HZ Series High Energy Barrel Mass Finishing Machines provide the most economical, high speed finishing available. |
HZ machines operate on the "ferris wheel" principle with a 1 to 1 ratio of barrel rotation to turret rotation. Four Mass finishing barrels are mounted at thr periphery of a large turret. Each barrel is loaded with media, parts, and water to approximately 70% to 80% full. During operation, rotation of the large turret creates a high centrifugal force on the media and parts inside each barrel. This force reduces the cycle time needed to complete the finishing of the partsby up to a factor of 30 over conventional vibratory and barrel finishing. |
