Ultrafiltration:

More information on Ultrafiltration is available in the Vibratory section of this web site.

Membrane Ultrafiltration is commonly used for Industrial waste water applications. UF membrane is supplied in three basic configurations, hollow fiber, spiral and wide channel tubular. Industrial waste water problems are best solved using a wide channel tubular configuration because of the following advantages;

  • Higher concentration of waste
  • Lower disposal costs
  • Easier to clean
  • Ability to mechanically clean
  • Less susceptible to fouling and plugging
  • Rugged design
  • Ability to handle high solids waste streams
  • Longer membrane life.
Tramp Oil Separation Systems:

The Hyde Tramp Oil Separator provides the economical solution for removing free floating and mechanically dispersed tramp oils from individual machine sumps, central systems and wash tanks. Based on gravity flow and coalescence, the system can reduce tramp oils to less than 1% in a single pass. The Tramp Oil Separator extends the product life of soluble oil, semi-synthetic and synthetic coolants, as well as washwaters.
