Pulsars are available in either suction or pressure blast modes. In a suction air blast system compressed air enters through a 1” diameter hose into the rear of the nozzle just before the blast orifice of the nozzle a second 1” water hose diameter hose comes up from beneath the nozzle containing abrasive which flows through an orifice drawn into the compressed air stream crossing the top of the abrasive nozzle orifice by suction or venturi effect much like an automobile carburetor. |
